Gen6 AI1B, heated bed controls?

Maybe someone else found this and I haven't. On the Gen6 board will there be a way to hook up a heated bed like Adrian modded a Gen3 extruder board?

Generation 6 electronics is under closed development by Camiel (participant in this forum) / mendel-parts.com, so you probably have to ask there.

Apparently there is no heated bed header due to cost issues but Camiel said they may do an add-on daughter board at a later date.

Camiel is a PLA-only guy. And there is no need for a heated bed when you use PLA, just use lightly sanded kapton and a hairdryer for the first layer, and clean the bed with some alcohol now and then. Using a heated bed to print ABS on a PLA Mendel would mean dangerous temperatures for the carriage anyway.

Cost issues? That's dissapointing.

Adding it on afterwards is a big cost issue.

Having a spare MOSFET output and a spare ADC input is a must for any electronics doing this sort of thing, it should only add 2euro (max)to the sales price.

How is the Gen6 going to handle multiple extruders.
