Hi,

I have built a Gen& Ver1.5 board. While doing power checks as instructed, i am getting an unexpected voltage for more than 0.5V on the following pins of ATMega Socket. Pins are 8,14,15,24,28,29,35,36.
Pin 28 has 2 volt, 29 has 1 volt and pins 35,36 have 2.4 volt.

Also, the lower row of pololus drivers is having the same problem.

Please tell what the problem is.?
Please Advice if it is safe to go ahead?

Thanks
Yashu

You have a short somewhere. In 90% of all cases due to insufficient soldering.

Not safe. May not blow up the thing, but to get it working you definitely have to solve the problem.

Okay!

I will check all my connections.

I had this thought that maybe the above said problem is occurring because i have not cleaned the excess flux from my board. could that be the case? Just Curious.

Thanks.

Yashu.
