Marlin lcd menu won't scroll
December 19, 2014 03:35PM
My Menu should be work as shown in this video: [www.youtube.com]
I use Mariln 1.3 and the RepRapDiscount Smart Controller

The Infoscreen is visible. With a click i come to the menu with "Print fom SD" and "Control" but if i rotate the knob nothing happens. if i click again i come back to the infoscreen. no scrolling to other menu options possible.

must the usb and power supply connectet? must i connect first power and then usb or inversely?

What is wrong? What can i do?
Thanks for help.

// EEPROM
// The microcontroller can store settings in the EEPROM, e.g. max velocity...
// M500 - stores parameters in EEPROM
// M501 - reads parameters from EEPROM (if you need reset them after you changed them temporarily).

Today i have installet RepetierHost. The manual control works fine!

Is there any way to calibrate my printer without the lcd?

Yes there is

You can insert the figures directly into the eeprom of the board by using the Config-firmware EEPROM Configuration part of Repetier Host (This does of course rely on you having set the option to use the eeprom to 1 in the config file)

if you use the online firmware configuration tool you can set all these things up fairly easily including the LCD See Repetier Firmware v092 or Repetier Firmware v091
