Stepper motors not moving

Recently I assembled my Prusa Air 2, but I noticed the hotend and the heatedbed were working fine but none of the stepper motors were working. I tried running ramps test software with a step stick but the motors still wont move. I tested the voltage from the potentiometer to the ground pin and get around 0.4v, I turned the potentiometer both ways yet the motor won't move. I have also confirmed the motors are working with my adafruit motor shield

The soldering on the pins of your pololu is the worst I have ever seen!!!


I would bet one or more of those is bad.

Also hot glue and electronics is not a good idea...
