Hi I am just got a duemilanove 328 is the anything i should be on the lookout for
when getting this to work with reprap software (ubuntu).

1I have uploaded firmware to duemil. using mccoyn e737256.
2loaded reprap software useing same port as i set to program firmware, with comms debug set to true. but do not know where to see the debug strings from motherboard. the window called "reprap console" does not seem to have any debug info.
I do see the rx/tx lights flash briefly about every second, only when reprap software is loaded.

thx

The debugging stuff is set to STDOUT. If you are using Ubuntu then selecting Run in terminal will let you see this. I'm not sure where this stuff ends up in Windows. What OS are you using? How are you launching the RepRap host?
