Nema 17 replacements

Hello,

So I just received my stuff from makerbot, which included 3 Nema 23 stepper motors for my darwin.

Bottom line: I forgot to get a Nema 17 for the extruder v2.0.

I'd like to know if my only choice is to again order from Makerbot, or I can somehow get it from a supplier in North America (preferably Canada).

If anyone has used a different stepper motors from a different supplier please let me know. Alternatives might also help my situation.

Your help will be MUCH APPRECIATED

Thanks,
Mahdi

Hi Mahdi,

There's Lin Engineering, a step motor company in the US.

They offer a few choices... Pick one with lots of torque smiling smiley
