i have but not that kit, i just got ramps ive powered it up through 5v but not fully tested it but i heard hes got good rep

Yes, I use his products - and recommend them.

Also bought that kit, just remember postage cost, I live in Holland and I had to pay a 20 euro extra import fee to customs.

The kit is very nice, I bought it two weeks ago. The hotend was in use immediately, and I made a nice hotend cooling fan out of the fan and cable supplied with it. The hotend needs active cooling on the top part otherwise the heat travels up too much.

Haven't used the ramps and mega yet, but I am planning on building a new printer so we'll see what happens when I get to it

Reprap discount has some pretty good deals on Ramps kits too, however I dont know if they ship to the UK...
