Pololulo trouble

Hi, i have trouble with one of my pololu A4988 stepper drivers (on a sanguinololu board). I get a loud "clicking" ( [www.youtube.com] ) noise from one of the steppers, and it seems to be coming from one particular pololu, i have tried switching steppers and switching places of two different pololu's and it always stays with the same driver. Anyone has any idea how to fix it?

You've adjusted the Pololu's Vref (current limit) trimmer potentiometer? IME, they're very sensitive to even minor changes in the current limit. Of course it doesn't help that Pololu uses open frame trimmers, which change value upon touching them with the screwdriver tip (surprisingly even with an insulated tip)
