LED orientation on mark 2 heated bed?

I've changed from a mark 1 to a mark 2 HBP.
Looking at the board with the etched wiring face up, the power wires on that side, and with the edge with the power wires nearest, the + red wire is on the left.
I've soldered in a 1k ohm resistor
As in this pic:

Mark 2 HBP wiring

(except I havent yet soldered in an LED)

Will go for one red LED only (active = HBP on). LEDs in my spares box have one long & one short leg for orientation, but I cant find anywhere which way round the LED should go in. If I follow the pic theres 2 permutations, with the other pair of holes 4 permutations.

Of course, I could just solder/desolder all the permuations, but easier to ask:
Which 2 holes should the LED go in, and which hole for the long leg of that LED?

Thanks in advance

Mike

The long leg is +/plus/positive. To find out where the + should go, either consult the board's schematic or measure on the real thing.
