Java libraries -- in the RepRap repository?

I'm wondering why we seem to have the external libraries the RepRap host code needs (Java3D and the COMM API) stored within the Reprap Subversion repository at SourceForge? They are under reprap/host/lib . See [reprap.svn.sourceforge.net]

Either I am being really dim today, or we only need one way to obtain these -- a user can install them per the install instructions, *or* they could get them from our respository -- but doing both seems wasteful and potentially confusing.

Also it's not clear that we have Sun's permission to redistribute their COMM API code, so making it available via svn may technically be against their licence terms?

Can anyone think of a reason why these files need to be in the Reprap repository? What am I missing?

There's even an .stl file in there :-)

Thanks,

Jonathan
