Help with Prusa i3 Box Style Frame
July 23, 2014 09:13AM
Hello fellow reprap users! I'm new to these forums as well as 3D printing and I'm really eager to get started. I have however run into an issue. I have a budget problem at the moment and one of my solutions is to source the timber for my frame from my local school's industry workshop (don't worry its perfectly legal). The issue being however that I can't seem to find the blueprints for the Box Style Frame nor can I find instructions on where to accurately drill holes and place screws. I want the frame done before I start with the rest of the 3D printer because its not all that easy to take $300 worth of equipment to school. I'd really appreciate any help an advice you can provide (bluprints, diagrams, listed steps, etc.).

This tutorial is quite good and also has lots of pics. The manual on github for the i3 has all the sizes etc you need. There are also plenty of build guides on youtube as well.
