My printer's called Johnny, he's sitting on my workbench if you want to talk to him, he's got one lead screw.

Are you looking for a brand name/model of such a machine or the general name for the machine's architecture?

There are many printers that use a single lead screw to lift the bed in the Z axis. When there's one lead screw doing the lifting, it is usually from one side, so the bed is cantilevered. Most machines with cantilevered beds lifted by a single screw have problems with the bed bouncing, creating print defects.
