I was looking into ways of making a minimal hold down table/jig for the XY thing i got going on, and just received this T-Slot stuff, its really stiff stuff, thicker alu than 3030 profile might be good for constructing slides, have some really nice clamps coming for it soon.

I suppose its not much cheaper than profile, but could be useful in a cheap minimal printer.
