print surface uneven/bumpy

Hi Guys,

i do have the following problem with my CR10.
The print surface is very uneven/bumpy. Even if all 4 corners are leveled fine, as soon as the extruders travels over the surface the difference between surface and extruder varies a lot! On some places on the extruder scatches heavy over the surface.
I tried several different ikea mirrors and the glas plate which comes with the cr10. Of course i tried it also direct on the heatbed. The problem persist.
So i guess the problem is not the mirrors or the glasplate.
Do you guys have any idea what reason for this could be?

Thanks!

I don't know the CR10, but in Cartesian printers generally that symptom is commonly caused by either a bed plate that isn't flat, or by a gantry that allows the head to sag when it is near the middle of the X axis. So if you have checked the bed plate, it looks like the X axis of your printer is sagging, or even bent.

If you are not able to improve the mechanics to make the gantry more rigid, the usual workaround is to use a Z probe and mesh bed compensation.

Someone with a CR10 may be able to offer more detailed advice.
