Simplify3D 4 keeps bombing out my prints after autobed routine and begin of first layer.

Posted by Dbotrunner
Not sure where else to have posted this question:

I copied the info from the terminal window of Octopi. Here is what is happening. From login to print. I've edited out all the temp replies to condense. I've tried running directly off SD card. This is a Dbot corexy printer running Marlin. I can print fine if I slice via cura etc. Tried reinstalling S3D, just downgrading etc, still locks up. When it does, the bed and nozzle stay active at their set temps. Hoping someone can look at this log and tell me what is going on.

Commercial software with their own support system...

Please see [forum.simplify3d.com]
Yeah unfortunately they won't be able to help me. Hoping someone here has run into this issue before.
It appears that you are connecting at 115200 "in Red"

Connecting to: /dev/ttyACM0
Connecting to: /dev/ttyACM0
Changing monitoring state from 'Detecting serial port' to 'Opening serial port'
Connected to: Serial(port='/dev/ttyACM0',
baudrate=115200,
bytesize=8,
parity='N', stopbits=1, timeout=10.0,
xonxoff=False,
rtscts=False,
dsrdtr=False),
starting monitor

Then here you are disconnected.
Starting baud rate detection Changing monitoring state from 'Opening serial port' to 'Detecting baudrate'
Trying baudrate: 250000

Seeing how you were connected, then lost connection. I would suggest a better USB Cable.
The remaining data appears to be testing different baud rates to try and re-establish the connection.

Even though you had a connection this does not rule out the possibility that setting for a connection were 100% correct.
As timeout settings are set for 10 seconds.

So things I've tried. Two different short length blue USB cables ( the ones you get with a ramps board ) and two USB cables with ferrite beads on both ends.

Removing the raspi out of the equation entirely and running the file from the LCD graphics controller yields the same results.
Did you change the baud rate to 250000?
The baud of my machine in ramps is 125000. I've set the setting in Simplify3D to the same baud.
Also wanted to add, if I slice a file via slic3r, the printer prints fine. Just Simplify3D gcode is doing this.
