usable 3d printing pens from china?

Hi,

since I occasionally do 3d printing workshops I thought about getting a 3d printing pen, so I looked around an ali and banggood and they start at 30$ which is fine, but I also remembered some negative reviews about those pens from 1-2 years ago. I dont know if they have gotten so much better that even the cheap ones are usuable.

So has anyone made some good experiences with a cheap 3d printing pen?

I bought a 3doodler as a gift... it works but jams a lot and it is tricky to make anything that isn't a crazy blobby mess. Great for an hours fun... it doesn't come out much anymore though !
