CURA Settings for Dual Extruder 3D Printer

I am happy to share my Cura Settings for Dual Extruder 3D Printer, printing in two color with these settings gives great result especially the sync of two colors while switching of extruder head.

In machine settings i have activated extruder count to "2" and have put in built area 210x210x280mm. I am attaching image here for you'll

Which version of Cura are you using? When I pulled Cura-2.4.0-beta2 recently it still couldn't add dual extruders for custom printers.

Wow ! My search for CURA settings finally landed me on this forum.

I have Geeetech i3 pro c dual extruder assembled just 3 days ago. i also got my first print which is not at all upto the mark.

Can i use your CURA settings for my printer, will it work ? Your cura settings is for which printer ?

Welcome to the forum. Did you follow a calibration guide to get the printer set up? If not, take a look at the guide at this link: [reprap.org]

Cura is pretty good, but the developers are very focused on their commercial priorities (fair enough), so it can be a bit of a pain to use on generic printers. You might want to take a look at Repetier-host with Slic3r as an alternative, although Slic3r has some problems of its own. At least in general Slic3r has a clear goal of supporting all printers to the fullest extent possible.

I am using CURA version 15.04.6. you can try this version for dual extruder

I have never used these settings for geeetech i3 pro c printer. but you can give a try by changing some values like print area and share your views here. it might be helpful for others.

I have tried many slicer but Cura gave me excellent results so far.
