I found that Micador Spray Adhesive (acid free!) works very well for PLA on glass. I have tried this with the bed temp at room temperature and at 70C. They worked very well both times.
Just use a very light coat and it can be reused many times. I haven't tried, but i'm sure it would work just as well of any other plastic used.
The spray adhesive comes off very easy in hot water.

Just thought someone would like to know this. Have fun!

On an unheated bed, does PLA warp at all when using spray adhesive? I've been getting warping with painter's tape and want to know if there are some better alternatives.
Also, do you remove the bed when spraying on the adhesive? If you kept the bed on while applying it, would it gum up the smooth rods?

I think really large objects might warp if you're unlucky, but I haven't had any warping at room temperature. I take off the bed just to get an even coat. I didn't think about it messing with the smooth rods. Over time I think it would build up and make it harder to move along the smooth rods, but wont really stop them.
So if you can, I think you should take off the bed to spray on the adhesive.
