Hotbed temp issues

Hello,

I am using an Aurora Z605 printer / Melzi board , worked fine for like a year.
Now everything is working fine except the heatbed temp reading

I can turn on the heat bed but it keeps warming -until I stop it-, temp is not changing it always shows 38 degree.
when I trun on the nozzle and heatbed is on or off, the heatbed temp is copying the nozzle temp, showing the same temp as the nozzle temp.

Tested the heatbed thermistor it is working fine.
Replaced the heatbed with another one, same problem appears
swaped the thermistor wires (nozzle-heatbed) temp shows correctly.

is this a defective board, firmware corrupt ?

You should look for bad solder joints on the board.
Vibration and heat can damage a board over time.

Sometime loose pieces of solder wandering around on a board and short out pins and connectors

The board looks fine, but I will check
any areas you suggest to inspect ?
