Newbie in need of help, Mega Prusa

I just assembled my mega prusa and am having issues with homing the axis's. They travel away from the stops until they cant go any further, then the motors start buzzing cuz they are trying to go farther than what it can. Any info at all would be greatly appreciated.

You can easily reverse the direction of the motors by simply turning the plugs around - so if the black wire is rightmost, plug it in leftmost. Make sure you turn off the printer first, as unplugging motors with the power on can fry your stepper drivers.

im not sure what you mean. the plugs can only go 1 way as far as connecting them to the control box

You need to configure the firmware for your printer. See this post on Marlin setup:
