Best kit to print?

Hello All,

I've spent the last year assembling the clonedel parts I purchased years ago. I finally almost have a working printer.

I'm looking to print the parts for my next project myself. I have noticed there are a lot of new kits out there ranging from Delta printers, the Prusa i3, and more. I was wondering what is the current DIY printer I should be looking to build? The classic Mendel I have was a bit of a PITA to assemble. Are any of the newer designs better?

I'd go with the Mendel90. It's a great printer, and not too hard to assemble.

+1 for the Mendel90 , better than the i3 IMHO, and a wood frame anyone can build. One interesting technology is CoreXY, but I don't know if there's some printable kits.

Collective intelligence emerges when a group of people work together effectively. Prusa i3 Folger (A lot of the parts are wrong, boring !)
