Whats the glue that sticks the fiberglass mat to the bottom of aluminum bed plate?

high temp epoxy would work, or even JB weld

thanks, but I forgot to mention that the glue ive seen used and what im looking for doesnt harden and acts more like a two sided duct tape, so you can replace the mat later by just pulling it down.

Thanks. Im not sure either.
Doesnt any other printer have a fiberglass mat glued to the bottom of the bed for insulation? This is the case for Solidoodle 3 and 4.

We're talking about mats, like fabric woven from glass threads, right? Then it depends on the type of mat you have. There are mats prepared for Polyester resin and such prepared for Epoxy resin. Using the wrong combination hardly works, the resin mostly refused to wet the glas.

That said, a thin mat of fiberglass won't insulate much. Insulation mats insulate because they contain a lot of air. Removing this air removes the insulation property.

For insulation, glas wool is good. Mount it loosely with adhesive tpae, e.g. Kapton tape.

Another good insulator is rescue sheet. This silvery foil you find in drugstores for prevention of becoming cold. Like here: [reprap.org]

Solidoodle uses a 8x8 inch fiberglass sheet. Its not thin.
