Vertical & horizontal lines with ABS

Hey guys, when printing vertical lines and horizontal lines with out supports which do you find works better? 1.75mm or 3mm? And what sort of heat ranges are you running when your doing it? Along with your layer thickness? Thanks for the info! This is all with ABS.

Depends on if you have a classic setup with the print bed being the Y-axis or if you have a Makerbot kind of setup or CoreXY.

Are you talking about bridging? I would assume so.

i don't really understand what you are asking
they are all horizontal lines as you are printing in slices. slices are done horizontally. and not vertical

there are usually automatic settings in your host,
repetier and slic3r sets my fan to the maximum fan speed and also has a higher speed for bridges etc.
and also my nozzle heat stays the same although printing

i am also printing in 3mm
