Smart controller problem

Smart controller work very well when I connect usb to power source.
But it didn't work with out usb power. How to solve it?

ps. I use ramps 1.4 and it has D1 diode.

I have the same problem, i think i have blown the 5v Bridge Regulator on the Arduino Mega2560 board, there for I could power the Arduino using the 12v barrel plug or change the 5v regulator, or change the Arduino Mega 2560 board.

yes. if it works with usb power, but not from any other power the voltage regulator on the mega 2560 is damaged.

Barrel plug also will not work, also goes into voltage regular

Most common cause for this is shorting +5 to gnd, normally threw the endstops. This burns out the voltage regulator
