Am close to finishing the parts " few smaller prints to do" its dawned on me last night that am not printing the original prusa i2.
from the image the red parts are from the original prusa mendel i2 from git hub, the blue what turns the i2 into a mojo. the parts can be found on TGV.

starting with the X ends: [www.thingiverse.com]

Tensionable Y-belt :[www.thingiverse.com]
extruder "Greg's Wade reloaded": [www.thingiverse.com]

these mod do add extra vitamin" nuts and bolts" count so additional 12 m3x25mm bolts and nuts. also need an extra 2 lmu88 " i for the x carriage, one for the Y bed.
the vitamins for the extruder could get from emaker [www.emakershop.com] . for the hobbed bolt I really recommend [tinyurl.com]

Right im a bit more clued up now, i have a list of nuts n bolts off this build instruction manual i have. Theres a few, should be ok though. I see what you mean.

almost done just to finish the extruder clamps. the extruder is for a J head hotend

when sourcing the hotend if you gotta buy it dont be cheap, get a genuine mkV Jhead [tinyurl.com] worth every penny,

All i have to do now is find some relevant Build Instrcutions, it is a little bit fragmented out there. But i think i remember one of you lovely people mention something about build instructions earlier on in the post, ill have a look there first.

Hello can anybody tell me what sizes these springs are supposed to be? i can not find it any where on the net.

i am finding inaccuracies all over the place for the build of this Prusa I2, can anybody tell me if these lengths that i have are correct for this build:
1x 450mm - low center rod
2x 440mm - top rods
6x 400mm - frame vertex
4x 320mm - lower rods for front and back side
2x 250-300mm - Z threaded rods>>>>>>> what size do these need to be please?

Jinx's mojo seems to use the same size of rods as the Prusa I2.

To get sure you might ask Jinx directly, as he printed the parts he should know. Maybe send him a private message ?

Most of my technical comments should be correct, but is THIS one ?
Anyway, as a rule of thumb, always double check what people write.

those sizes are a little larger than, what I seen,

6 M8×370mm Threaded rod 3 per side
4 M8×294mm Threaded rod front / rear
3 M8×440mm Threaded rod top / bottom
2 M8×210mm Threaded rod Z-leadscrew
1 M8×50mm Threaded rod bolt for X idler.

but if thats what you got the bonus here is you be able to widen the frame to 310mm which would be an advantage if you set up a dual nozzle.

Thanks Jinx, that is very helpfull. i think i will make the frame at 310mm for when i stick another nozzle on.

Sorry to all involved.
i started this project awhile ago then had a family member died, we inherited the house. but it needed so much work doing to it that the last year i have been flat out doing the renovation, which is still going on. so i did not get to do anything on the printer,
but recently i have been trying to get this project off the ground once more. i have just purchased the bearings, so there will be an update shortly hopefully.
