I'm trying to add an AD597 thermocouple board to the Rambo 1.3L running Marlin. I'm using this board

I am using the analog header on the Rambo to get 5V, GND and have the output of the AD597 connected to pin 4 of the header which is A3. See attached image for a part of the schematic I am refering to.
I measure .211 V DC on pin 4 which would put that at 21.1C.
I have changed Marlin configuration.h line #define TEMP_SENSOR_0 -1 to the AD597.
I have changed the pins.h line for the 301 motherboard for temp sensor 0 to use pin 3. #define TEMP_0_PIN 3
All I get on the GLCD is maxtemp error and the temperature reads 495C.
It seems as if the extra analog input pins are not defined in Marlin and just removing the A from the pin name does not work. I have tried every analog input pin with the same result. I am at a loss as to what to try next.
The only option I see is to remove the bias circuit from A0 analog input and put the AD597 output there.
Any help is much appreciated.
