I though about this this morning. I have a small one I could try later today and, if that works, one for an iPad is about £10. They are very tough.

I currently print with PLA but was wondering if this would work with ABS and other plastics.

If anyone has tried it and found that it does not work, let me know so I don't waste a screen protector.

iv been messing about with heated bed covers this weekend with different liquids and sprays.

so far iv found that waterd down PVA glue brushed on is a great covering for it sticks to the print nice and when cooled relases the print very nicely. currently using a 50/50 mix of PVA and water .

but screen cover might work might be too slippy. i got some spare iphone 4 protectors at work ill try printing on one tommrow night and let you know what happens.

attached is pic of bed covered in PVA Glue mix. also gives a nicer satin finish to the bottom of the print matching the rest of the plasic instead of high gloss
