Hey!
A group of us meet up regularly near Bethesda or College Park once a week. We talk about technology over lunch, and topics frequently include entrepreneurial pursuits, 3D printers, technology news, robotics, etc. We are a small group but I wanted to reach out to meet new guys. All that I ask is that you are a positive -spirited person, because the synergy of our group is unique - when one person comes up with an idea they are not criticized and people roll with it, and amazing things have come out of that. Our guys are around age 25-40, engineers, science writers, programmers, and such. Sometimes we bring out the girlfriends too ;-), so we aren't too horribly nerdy, and all are welcome.
