using proteins in the reprap

Like to know if I could use protein powders, like whey or soy, as raw materials for making models (any kind). we are organising protein courses for the food industry and it will be fun to have our delegates making a structure with their own raw material. does anybody have experience with using proteins? possible? many thanks for the reaction,

While it isn't exactly the material you were looking for, these fellows were using extruded masa as printing material.
