You need to give us a little more than that...

What make of PLA are you using?
Are you using a bowden tube?
Is the PLA on a reel and are you using a spool holder or is it being fed some other way.

I have had some odd things happen to me with PLA, shatter on a reel, break during feed.

But I have never had any breaking issues with good PLA, only the low-quality stuff.

Just ask if you can send that spool back to them. PLA should not be brittle, especially if your other roll is fine.

I wonder, if one roll pla is breaking every time (even when I am not printing at all) and I recieve an other one that just breakes at the extruder and the bigining of the roll, am I bying bad PLA or..
It's just weird, because it's my first roll. Some days it's going nice. Make one print after an other but some days. It just breaks on the roll or in the extruder. An other day just in the midle of the tube between the extruder and the nozzle.
I can not compare with an other roll so..
Or am I doing something completly wrong here.

I have a DIV mega prusa with a 0,7 mm nozlle and print (when I can) with 3mm PLA.
Room temp is around 21 degree.
PLA is on a roll and hangs free on a round tube.

Any one an idea.

I have never had PLA filament break or shatter on me. Then again, I do only purchase from sources that are well-known to be of high quality. I use 3mm exclusively.

1.75mm should not just break. your batch is substandard. i've had some pla rolls where starch was added to make the roll heavier. it not only made the roll brittle but clogged and damaged a hot end.

not worth saving 10$ to spend 80 more for a new hot end, or to constantly stop prints. some of these suppliers think they are clever by adding this kind of junk!

Starch! Can you smell that? I see a white break in a roll black PLA. Looks weird to me.

feed the filament through a ptfe tube of 3mm inner diameter.... it will solve the issue... also it would be much better if you turn your roll around 90 degrees to reduce stress on the filament...

I told the seller about this bad PLA.
I recieved a new roll.
But...
