I have created a graphics package which includes some small improvements on the reprap logo and a Darwin logo. (http://tinyurl.com/5jln4w)
Where can I submit it? And I would like to get more involved from a graphic design standpoint. How could I find out about that?

~thanks

hey,
you have to download the file (might need to use file>save page as) and rename it from:
reprap-logo-packagetar.gz
to:
reprap-logo-package.tar.gz

Nice logo... I'm not a designer but I would go with having the drop outline complete instead of the text interfering with the outline...

the darwin logo is amazing!! I love it! smiling smiley

Good job!

Thanks for the info about the wrongly named file. I have reuploaded the file to this url (http://tinyurl.com/6xdemh)

Looks good.

I had also made some logo stuff earlier on. Perhaps you can use it. For a logo it important to have harmonized the things you expose people to, so not too many variations. I hope you like my stuff too:

Another design idea, the holes in the letters of RepRap could be teardrops too.

I think that for the Mendel Design something like this would be better:

It retains the teardrop but adds circuitry. Design files (see other attachment) are inkscape svg.
